Vmart/Oswalt for Utley/Marmol (WHIR)

Postby jpbusta » Fri May 13, 2011 9:26 am

I just recently traded away Prado for Youkilis. I also have David Wright at 3b so I was trying to deal Wright/Capps for Utley and Marmol but it was rejected.

He countered me by offering

his Utley and Marmol

for my Vmart and Oswalt

By trading away Prado, my only option at 2b is Cuddyer. :-P

I think I can also pull Vmart for Utley straight up.

First off, I think you should be happy that your initial offer with Wright was rejected... it wouldn't have been a good return for him, IMO.

As to the new offer, I'd pass. Frankly, I'm staying away from Utley because I don't have a clue when he'll be healthy again, and even when healthy, how successful at the plate can he expect to be?

I agree with the previous post. Have you not been watching V-Mart lately?
