None of those options are too thrilling, but I guess I could see giving Lee or Ibanez a shot, since they've both been hitting better lately...probably Ibanez, as he's been really solid the last couple weeks. Is Luke Scott available? If so, I'd probably pick him up over the other choices.
Not sure if you're better off with one of those instead of Wallace though. Probably a better chance at HRs, if thats the main thing you're seeking.
Is Wallace going to fall off a cliff after his hot start or should he be pretty productive? Any projections? Still better than Trumbo given the Morales news?
Yeah, I think Wallace will come back to earth big-time. He'll probably still provide a decent average, but probably not above the .270-.280 range. And if you're looking for power, I dont think Wallace will give you much. maybe 10-15 HRs the rest of the season.
Trumbo has more power, but the AVG and OBP will not be good.
I see Ibanez and Lee out-producing both of these guys, assuming they can stay healthy.
now my question for you is how in the world you got ALL of those studs in a 6 person keeper league lol...clearly you kept greinke and crawford b/c they are on contract
keepers 1. greinke 2. crawford
beyond those two i see halladay / hernandez / lincecum / hanley / cargo / a-rod / pedey / fielder who are all 1st through 3rd round talents lol
This is the team I drafted ... and I wasn't thrilled with it at all. I'm currently in 9th place and paying for the early slumps. Nonetheless, I got to work. I traded away a lot of the headaches, but as you can see, I REALLY had the move things around to not be burried even more. My utility used to be great, but I was much weaker at the positions and SP, so I am happier with the tradeoff. Still kicking myself for dropping Berkman though in week 1. But can't always make the right move all the time.
