Beachy left Friday's start against the Phillies with an oblique strain, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
Recommendation: Should this become a long-term issue, look for Mike Minor to replace Beachy. Beachy was off to a rough start, allowing three runs on six hits over two innings, including a homer by Ryan Howard. (Rotowire.com)

I'm so confused by this sentence... I don't know that a guy with a 3.14 ERA and 1.12 WHIP, 4 - 1 record, and 42 K in 43 IP is considered a "spot start" His start @ Pit was over a month ago? You could do a lot worse than 5 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 2 K, 2 ER?
Thats the second crap-tastic effort he put together against the worst offense in the league... He just bought himself a permanent spot on the bench for a long long time until he finds out how to pitch again
