more strange than that is I have gordon and if someone offered me Ubaldo for him.. it would take some long hard thought..
No way. Quickest accept ever.
But Ubaldo looks so bad right now.. ugh. his velocity sucks, he got beat up by the mets. I just think that at-best we are looking at a 2009-like Ubaldo.. which is good, but not like he's a top 10 pitcher or anything..
If he throws in a diet Coke and Melido Perez, we have a deal.
She said always remember never to trust me She said that the first night that she met me She said "there's gonna be a time when I'm gonna have to go with whoever's gonna get me the highest."

I'm so confused by this sentence... I don't know that a guy with a 3.14 ERA and 1.12 WHIP, 4 - 1 record, and 42 K in 43 IP is considered a "spot start" His start @ Pit was over a month ago? You could do a lot worse than 5 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 2 K, 2 ER?
HALP!!
Bohort I meant his last start against San Fran... really thought that was a sure fire game for him but he lost command of the fast ball.
I been using Nolasco as my 5th starter over him so he's been my spot starter for good streaming purpose.
Starting everyone today as well. though not loving starting Beachy, but would beat myself up if he goes out there and throws a gem.
Started Dempster and it worked well, giving up 6 H, 2 ER, 1 walk and striking out 11 over 6 innings (and getting the win). Bumgarner seems to continue get screwed, don't seem too much wrong with his numbers: 5 H, 3 ER, 2 Walks and struck out 6 over 6 innings, got the loss though. Granted the best Bum could of got was a no decision considering how terrible the bullpen was.
Hitter wise, Huff did well 2/4 for 2 RBI no Ding Dongs though, Ross was the one who got the knock (2 RBI, his only hit in 4 PA). Torres stole his 2nd base of the year and ended up 3/5 with 2 R. Posey helped your avg today but that is about it (2/4, 2 K).
On the other side, it was the Cubs 1, 2, and 6 hitters that cleaned up. Castro went 3/5 with 2 Runs and 2 RBI, Barney stayed hot also going 3/5 with 2 Runs and 3 RBI, while R. Johnson joined the 3/5 parade, adding 1 Run and 4 RBI. Demps got involve in the scoring even (1 Run, 1 BB, 1 Strikeout).
Didn't see the game, so just going off reading the box scores. Happy had Dempster and Castro though, especially when most of my SS on other teams have been mediocre/terrible early on.
