This seems like a much better deal for me, but Abreu isn't playing too well and Arencibia is my favourite player. JP also has better stats than Abreu. Should I trade my favourite player in order to get a small upgrade? I'm first right now, so I can easily stand pat.

WoW! You have MIggy, Tex, Howard and Dunn?!?! Very nice.
You have plenty of power and JP isn't that great of a fantasy option yet. I would probably make the move. But I could see if you want to hold on your favorite player, because this trade won't make or break you.

na no offense to your fav player but your catcher is position is weak your outfeild is good enough if he was willing to take eybar or lowrie long term i think thats a good plan if u play obp and walks abreau has worth he still has worth in standards but just not like he use to

I'm not that high on Abreu. At some point, age has to catch up to him. I agree with the other guy; this won't make or break you either way. If you like JP so much, keep him.
