Lester/B Butler for Tex/L Morrison? WHIR

Postby footballisbetter.com » Thu May 12, 2011 6:42 pm

I am thinking about offering my Lester and Billy Butler for his Texiera and Logan Morrison.

My batting has been bad and I could use some power. Without seeing rosters does this look a fair deal, and any chance it gets accepted?

Edit. See my other possible option in the 6th post.

I think it's an OK offer. I'd give it a shot. he might not take it, because of the big power drop off from Tex to Butler; but, it's worth a try. It's definitely not a laughable first offer.

My OF is fine, but I could play Morrison at U. I just need to upgrade my hitters overall, especially power and RBI's.

I will be dropping V Wells and K Morales this week.

If you can afford to give up Lester. I think its a lot because of how good Lester is. Im not completely sold on Morrison, so if he doesnt pan out , this is a lot ot give up for Tex.

I could give up Cliff Lee instead of Lester, but I prefer Lee personally.

I could also try to offer this trade to another owner:
My B Butler, J Lester, and R Davis

for his Wright, A Gordon and BJ Upton

Thanks for the help on mine. I would definitely try to get Tex but I think you are giving a little too much. Try to get someone better than Morrison or switch Butler for someone a little worse. I like the 2nd deal even more and I think there's a good chance it gets accepted.

If the guy will take it, more power to you. But I wouldn't give Tex to get Lester. Tex/LoMo side of this deal is the clear winner, in my opinion.

It is worth a shot. Offer it up and see what counter you get in return or maybe you will get lucky and he will have a man crush on Lester. But the Teix side wins definitely.
