He has done nothing the last 2 years to justify a 1st overall pick in the draft, He is not a stud anymore in my opinion. Rollins is getting old but his numbers wont be that way off from Hanley's trust me. Hanley is under achieving.

This is a pretty good example of the kind of owner that you should be looking for to try to acquire Hanley Ramirez from.

Anyone care to explain the author's use of "under achieving" here? I think he is confused as to its meaning.

Sry you have to jump on this. This isn't a keeper league and we are a 1/3 of the way through the season. Sry but this is a steal for Hanley. He may have some name cred but he's still doing nothing above stealing bags. You get a good replacement at SS and major upgrades elsewhere. Take it if you want to win, keep Hanley if you want say you own Hanley!

How about this one?

I give:

Hanley
Todd Helton
Matt Capps
Edwin Jackson
John Danks

I get:

Jimmy Rollins
Kevin Youkilis
Huston Street
Cole Hamels
Josh Johnson

Oh, and it is a keeper league, but, I'm in first place, and want to win this year.

Well, if it's a keeper league I'd probably stand pat, that last offer would definitely give u the best chance to win now though!

That last deal is tempting because of JJ.
I think it helps you this year, but tough to lose Hanley in a keeper.

I say, go for the new deal. Loving those big leaps on pitching and 1B.

I take the deal. I think gaining JJ and Hamels offsets the loss of Hanley for keepers and you are clearly crushing him in production for this season.

I don't count Soto and Vogelsong.

Lets say Wilson vs. Axford is hugely in your favor.
Then Verlander for Danks is hugely in your favor.
For simplicity we will say that Santana vs. Capps is a push, although it's difficult to compare the two. We can even say that it's slightly in his favor.
Asdrubal/Haren for Hanley seems fair enough to me, if not in your favor.
Nothing for Soto/Vogelsong is to your advantage because you cut bait on some real turds in order to free up roster space for possibly enticing waiver pickups.

The long and short of it is that you are making an amazing deal here and just pray it doesn't get vetoed.
