I know hes the next big thing but for some reason i just dont feel it. Thinking about offering him and desmond up for either cargo or holliday. Just wondering what u guys think.... sell why hes got some good value or hold tight.
I just offered my Upton for Stubbs + a 10th round pick. Upton is a 6th round keeper, so sounds like im raping myself there but Stubbs can be kept in the 13th. and we can keep 8 guys, but only 5 in the first 10 rds. and my OF consists of Holliday, Granderson, Ellsbury, Bautista, so JUp spends a lot of time on my bench anyway.
i think Upton will become a top 10 hitter sometime in his career, but i fear by that time he will just be too expensive for me to keep around.

as a stubbs owner, I would not trade Stubbs + 10th for Upton. straight up, not even including all that keepers in rounds stuff..
Upton has pretty much always been a little bit overrated. He'll be a stud at some point almost for sure but his AVG that first full year was a fluke and he hasn't been able to stay healthy which eats away at his value, finally that just isn't a very good lineup. I mean the guy is on pace for 30+ HR and 20+ SB so hard to complain about him too much.
im trying to figure out what the hell AZ is thinking. against the giants Upton was batting 5th yesterday as well, yet they still have the corpse of Kelly Johnson and his .265 OBP leading off. Parra should be leading off, roberts 2nd, upton 3, drew 4, then nady and KJ should be in the 6 or 7 hole until he figures out this whole "baseball" thing. Upton should not be batting 5th, wtf

Oh, please. Your just mad he didn't accept your trade. Cold feet are part of the game and get used to it. If you want to cry over another owner getting cold feet, don't trade anymore. It happens all the time. Both in real life and fantasy.
