I'd rather have A-Ram over Soriano, in your situation, without question. I'd like the arms you're getting more than the arms you're giving. And while I wouldn't want to move Street, it's a doable thing to do.

you trade alfonso to some idiot who has no idea about past seasons and only sees this year as a top outfeilder in the mlb hust street top 10 releiver ona team that always needs him

I look at it this way. Soriano will slowly fade away, I think. Aramis is better and im in dire need of a 3B. C.J. Wilson and Garza may not currently be better than Lohse and Carmona. But im trying to predict that they will fall off and C.J. and Garza will be consistent. Huston street, yeah its hard for me to have him leave my team but he is inury prone, and I can scoop Vincent Padilla. I also have Jose Valverde so is not like i will take a huge hit in the RP department.

You can't afford to lose Street.
Plus, i'm not so sure Sorianos power slows down.

Ya I don't think you can afford to lose Street. Thats a guy u want to hang on for and i dont think youll ever get fair trade value for a closer. Maybe if u can hang in there u can trade for pablo and get him for a lower price. Trust me he is working hard and is going to be a beast this year. You defintley have a few guys you can afford to trade.

Thanks for your help on mine. I wouldn't do this deal, it's not too bad but Street is a keeper and you don’t get enough of an upgrade overall to deal him. I would definitely try to get Soriano though, as I don’t think his power will take a huge hit. I personally would trade Ramirez for him straight up.

I agree with Hootie. You need to keep Street. You are essentially conceding saves if you don't. That can be a workable strategy of the deal is too good to pas up, but this one is mediocre at best.
