Hypnosis?

Last night, the school I teach at had a hypnotist come in for a fundraiser, and I was one chosen to be hypnotized. During the show, I felt very relaxed and responded to the hypnotist's ridiculous commands (sing NSync, do ballet, etc...) as if they were any reasonable request.

While I felt really strange, I don't think I was in as deep as others in the show, because I remember most of the show pretty vividly, while others were completely blanked out about what happened.

Has anyone else ever been hypnotized? If so, what was your experience like? I'm just trying to get a gauge of how typical (or not) my experience was...
