Also how the hell did Wolf give up 5 runs to SDP, have they scored that many the rest of the season? Good for a -11. :-t

He just might shut down the Mets without Wright and Ike in their lineup. :-?

True, and he just might walk Jason Pridie and Jon Niese with the bases loaded to drive in a couple of runs.

starting Lowe @ Was today

yesterday was a big day for the defending champion Hot Stove Red Sox 24/54 (that's .444) 16 R, 6 HR, 19 RBI, 3 SB to jump up 16.5 points. That's why we stay the course after a rough April.

At first I thought you were referring to Harper being ho-hum. :-o

Lots of pitchers to choose from and I tempted to go with all of them: Cain, Shields, Lowe, Zimm and even Morton. :-°

Btw, thought the Mets-Rockies were supposed to have a double header today? Weather cancel it? :-?

Nope, just a reschedule of yesterday's game. Both teams were supposed to have an off day today.

Dustin Pedroia's 20.1 K% (career 9.1%) is somewhat troubling. He's drawing more walks this year, but batting just .237 when his BABIP is just .027 below career norm I'm making the following face:

Lowrie is also striking out a lot more this year than he should be. And walking less.
