6 Man Trade; Giving Tulo, Roberts, Alvarez

I'm currently getting nothing out of both 2B and 3B, with Alvarez and Roberts/Beckham.
I traded for Roberts about 3 weeks ago, so nothing he did before that helps me... He's done nothing since.

So what do you all think about this trade?

I'm only really offering Pedro to fill the other guys vacant 3B, but I'm willing to give him someone else.

1. I don't think that's a terrible deal for me, do you?

Looking at it from his side, I'm not sure I'd do it, what do you think?

This guys SPs are rough as well.
So that may be a sub for Alvarez as well.

The trade is not good. You swap one struggling 2B for another, and two crappy 3B, of which you get the lesser, and then you give up a top 5 talent for a speedster. This is way off in my opinion, and changing the Alvarez/Rolen part won't change anything, except that you should take that out of the deal since it only hurts you. Rolen had a decent season last year but it was his first in years and even if he gets hot he only plays about 115 games a season. He's on the DL now, and he will be again. Alvarez has stunk up the joint but Rolen simply isn't the solution. What's his team look like? Can we take a look at the roster and try to square up a good deal?

Looks like the vote is 6 to 4 at tradebashers right now, still for the Reyes/Rolen/Pedroia side. I'm surprised that the Tulo side isn't getting more love but we'll see how it comes out when the trade closes.

56-44 on the Reyes side still...

In my league, Troy and Reyes are about even in points. Seems like it's mostly because Troy is hitting about 60-70 points lower in avg... Wish you'd think would get closer in the end.

Still not sure if I should propose it, not sure if the the guy would even accept.

I'm kind of thinking that the first proposal wouldn't be accepted...

So what about

GIVE: Tulo, Roberts, Garza, Alvarez
GET: Reyes, Pedroia, Rolen, Hellickson

I'd have to think that Rolen and Alvarez would have similar end of season numbers, if Rolen comes back healthy.
The idea that Pedro is going to hit 25HRs and drive in 90 is long gone IMO.
Maybe 16/55-60?
