5x5 H2H Keeper. 10 teams. keep up to 6. Got 3 different offers from the same guy. I don't love the deals but I want a second opinion and see if I can make a decent counter offer. The only note on the counter would be that Cain stays in the deal, I want him.

I sort of like trade 2: you upgrade the rotation, ss, your batting average and your speed. Kindler has baggage in terms of slumpsmand injuries and CBY kills the avg, so getting ichiro helps, as does Alexei at ss.
I think deal 2 is the best but if you could swap C. Young for maybe F. Francisco and B. Norris (or just 1 of them) you would walk away on top. Its close but If I were you I'd concentrate on deal 2 if you were to counter.
Larry - "Who's this? Who are you?" Crash Davis - "I'm the player to be named later."
1) too many moving parts to really analyze meaningfully, but in general when someone sends you a trade involving that many players hes trying to rape you and just hiding the rapeage with a lot of crappy players.
2) probably the best offer, but i still dont think youre upgrading your pitching all that much. Im a HUGE giants fan, watch almost every single game Cain pitches and i still say this. im pretty high on Beachy and have been driving his bandwagon since before he even won his rotation spot. his control is as good as Cain's, way better K rate, and his ratios will continue to be pretty awesome. only tihng is that he is not allowed to pitch deep into games so the W may be lacking somewhat. honestly I would ride him until the AS break and then try to trade him before he gets shut down for the season
3) Scott is useless in a 10 teamer and youd giving up the better player all the way around.
I think #2 is the best of them, but as has been said, that would only really be a base for a counteroffer. You'd be giving the better players in almost every regard. So, if you can't get the offer evened up, then stand pat.
Really, looking at your lineup, I'd pass on all of them. I'm trying to see what you could counter with, but I can't come up with an acceptable deal that benefits you.
So, take a chill pill.
Thanks for the help on mine.

I really like your team as is (except for SS). You have a solid lineup and a good quantity of quality pitching. I do not like giving up Kinsler, Martin, or Beachy.
I watch a lot of Yankees games, and Martin has been a beast so far this year. I remember a stat (albeit a week old) where he had about 5-6 home runs all of last year, where as this year he had that within the first month and a half. He's producing a lot in the catcher position and Girardi is planning on playing him 140+ games. He told Girardi he wanted to play 162!
Kinsler will pick it up. He was a top 30 drafter player preseason, and is easily the best player in any of those deals.
Beachy has impressed a lot of people on these boards this year.
No question Ichiro, Cain, and Ramirez are good players. However, the upgrade you would be getting in terms of pitching is marginal and the decline I see in terms of your lineup is greater.
I think your best bet is to focus on a smaller trade for Alexei Ramirez. You don't need Cain or Ichiro.
I am not a huge fan of any of these deals. Keep in mind that Kinsler has a ridiculously low BABIP (.214) right now, so you should expect more going forward, although, you have the injury risk. I like Cain too, but I don't think you are improving enough to make up for what you are loosing.
I don't like any of them. You'll miss Kinsler's best numbers and don't get anything in return that gives you any kind of a substantial upgrade. your pitching is very solid as is and so is the rest of your team. Other than Barney. I wouldn't mess with these. I'd work on upgrading there while Barney's numbers are up so you can package him and trade him high for a better SS
