I trade away Brandon Phillips, Shin-Soo Choo, Hanley Ramirez for Robinson Cano, Jose Reyes, and Jose Bautista

Should I go with this trade or stick with my squad? I really want Bautista. How should I get him?

Standard 10 team league. scoring type head to head. Not a keeper league.

In my opinion, you should absolutely make this trade.

To plug in Bautista at 3B (assuming he qualifies there in your league) instead of Aviles is a monster upgrade. You have plenty of OF depth, and if you need to dip into the FA pool, surely there are some decent OF options.

Sure, this is typically a bad time to "sell-low" on HanRam, and to a certain extent Choo, but I think this deal is good enough to make it worth it. I'd even consider trading HanRam + Choo for Reyes + Bautista. Add Phillips for Cano to the deal, and its a big win for you.

I'd make the deal. You're upgrading at two positions and only slightly downgrading at SS.
