Hi Guys! I just read this on CBS Sportsline! I hope its not true. My pitching staff is not the best to begin with without having this happen! Anyone else have anymore info? Thanks

It looks like it will happen. They wanna fit Sele in the rotation and Escpobar has been lit up in spring training , plus he has done relief work before, and the angels have a great staff of 6 talented arms to start so 1 has to go. It would most likely be him.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Found this on it..

Latest update

According to the Los Angeles Times, manager Mike Scioscia hasn't ruled out the idea of using Escobar in relief early in the season in place of the injured Brendan Donnelly.
Fantasy Source spin: Not exactly what Escobar owners want to hear after drafting him as a starter. This still is just an idea at this point, and it wouldn't last long anyway.

I hope it does not last...I drafted him as a starter...ugh!!

It can't last. There is no way in hell any owner, GM, or manager, for that matter, will have a 10 million dollar set-up guy. They will have to take their lumps with him starting. If he does start the season in the bullpen, which is highly unlikely, it won't last long at all.

it won't happen., ortiz has pitched the worst., and escobar will find the rotation, the only way escobar will remain in the pen is if after his first 2 starts he is knocked out before 5th inning in both., else hold on ...angles are a good team., he will win and do well there

peace..
