Trade Beltran?

Beltran's pretty much stuck on my bench, so should I look to trade him? I think LF (especially now with Wells and Young both on the DL) and SP are my biggest weaknesses. Agree/disagree?

I was thinking about offering Beltran for Tabata straight up. Good offer? I was also thinking about offering Beltran with Kuroda for Latos. Thoughts on that?

Should I look to trade Youk instead, since I'm set at 1B and 3B, and can roll with Beltran (or Lee or whoever) at Util?

You really need some pitching. I don't like the Beltran for Tabata. As for trading for Latos, not liking anything I'm seeing from him this year, velocity is down and walks are way up.

Don't think Latos is worth the gamble? I'd be selling Beltran high and don't really think he's a big loss for me.

Latos' owner also has Cain, Billingsley, Masterson, Brett Anderson, and Beckett. He seems willing to trade one of his top guys for Beltran and a closer...

Melky Cabrera is available on waivers. Should I pick him up to fill my injury-ridden LF spot? Who should I drop?

If you can pry Cain off of his hands for Beltran and a closer, I would totally do it.

I don't think Latos is worth the gamble, IMO, but if you can grab Melky, totally do it and drop Wells.

I am hoping to grab LoMo this week. With the influx of talent in OF, I hope to sneak him in off of the f/a wire.


If you get Cain and LoMo, that is highway robbery. I could almost say the same for the second trade offer.

I agree, I'd be very happy with either deal. Hopefully Broxton gets his closer role when he comes back so I can continue to be strong there if I lose Valverde.

Broxton is iffy, but as long as he is rehabbed properly, he should offer you a nice amount of saves.

Valverde is a beast. I wouldn't give up Correia.

Giving up Beltran and Valverde for J. Johnson/Cain and LoMo is nice for you and him.
