At first glace, I think I should do this. But just thought I would get some other opinions.

These two are sooo close... Haren has slightly more potential but Hamels pitches in the NL, and both have looked outstandingly consistent recently. If you put a gun to my head and told me to choose, I'd probably be dead.
My gut tells me Haren by a hair... A split hair at that.
thanks for the help with mine i rated u knowledgeable and informative or w.e
i also say no way on haren he started out 2010 that way and i owned him was like yes yes yes and then truth betold after the all star break it went sour like it did in 09 cole knows he has 2 pitch big there against teams 3rd best pitchers ina phillys lineup that is soon 2 get back chase utley and have more run support
if haren finally pitches a full great season itll be great but if hamels just pitches a good year it will outweigh if haren gets crazy after the all star break again

I think you may be right about this. My gut is saying stay with Hamels. But my gut is not always right.
Such a tough choice... both players have started out well and were valued almost identically during drafts. They both have very similar K:9; I really think the tie goes to Hamels who is on the better team and gets to face the pitcher every 9th batter. The NL advantage isnt as big as other AL pitchers since Haren will get to pitch against the A's and Mariners quite a bit this year, but it is still an advantage.
Any ways you could add another player to the deal to make it more in favor for you? Good Luck!
Haren's ERA and BABIP usually spikes in the 2nd half of the season. Now some of this is attributed to bad luck, but it seems to happen year in and year out. You would think he couldnt be that unlucky that often, but the numbers dont lie. I would steer clear of Haren for this reason. Whats the worst that can happen by not making the trade, Haren doesnt collapse in the 2nd half and you are stuck with Hamels?
Tough call for sure on this one, but I like Hamels by a hair. The way I see it now is that Hamels is pitching how we expected him to pitch and I feel he should continue to do so (and in the NL, on a favorite), whereas Haren, while pitching extremely well...is pitching a little over his head. not to say he's pitching unexpectedly good...I just don't think anyone thought he'd be doing THIS well out of the gate.
That being said, I have a feeling that Haren will regress at least slightly and Hamels should be able to keep this up
again, i could be completely wrong, but if it were me...i'd stick with Hamels ... by a little.
Everyone is pretty much spot on...it's splitting hairs. I understand the arguments for Hamels because he plays in the NL/for the Phillies and that Haren's numbers are usually better in the first half than the second. Personally, though, I'd go with Haren.
He struggled in AZ and when he first got to ANA but turned things around late last season as soon as Jeff Mathis started catching him. His 2010 Anaheim numbers with Napoli behind the plate: 30 IP 4.20 ERA; with Mathis behind the plate: 44 IP 2.25 ERA. Napoli is in Arlington now and Mathis catches most of Haren's games. Also, remember that he was considered a top 10 fantasy pitcher heading into the 2010 season by a lot of sources.
Like I said, splitting hairs, but just some food for thought.
I never thought I'd say this, but keep Hamels for two reasons: Contraras and Lidge. Plus Hamels has the luxury of being "only" a #4 starter in that rotation. I think he is pitching more relaxed and it's showing.
Yes, the Phils offense will have some on days, but when they have off days, I like Hamels over Haren.
