Re: Braun for AGon/Pineda?

It's a fair trade. I'm kind of torn on this one. If it was a keeper I would say no way, Pineda is and will be a beast! If it was a little later in the season I would say do it because Pineda's innings are gonna be monitored. You have a good staff that can take the loss. Your OF isn't too shabby, and Braun would make it even better. If this trade was offered to you I would take it.

I would take that deal. I like Braun more than AGone and Pineda has been very good but I don't know if I trust him to be this good all year. I think is 2nd half value is pretty limited with Seattle putting an innings limit on him and him possibly hitting a wall and just slowing down because of fatigue. This of course is more of a hunch so IMO I would take that deal.

He countered with Agon/Ellsbury for Braun which I declined. The original deal is still on the table as he hasn't accepted or declined.

You have way more than enough pitching to last the season

Do the deal.

Nolasco is going to be a beast this season and plays for Marlins so that helps. I'm trying to pick him up as well so if you can help me please:

Adrian and Ellsbury for Braun is too much.

The Pineda one looks good. Like everyone else said, your pitching will still be solid after you lose Pineda. I'd try to acquire Braun. :-)
