8 Player Trade Help (Giving Tulo)

I'm looking to upgrade at 3B, 2B, and SP

The guy I'm dealing with could upgrade at SS and CP

IMO I upgrade at 2 spots, and grab a good SP. Lose the best SS in the game.
Escobar in our league has 71.75 points vs. Tulo's 125 for reference.

I like the trade for you. That's because I think Greinke is bound to have another great season with the Brewers. Alcides is an enormous downgrade from Tulo but maybe you could find someone off the waivers better than Alcides. Kinsler and Wright are both slumping but I'm sure they will both come around.

Well at 18 teams deep I might be stuck with Alcides baring an additional trade.
I'm deep at OF; Kemp, Cruz, Aerth, Rios... So maybe I can flip Werth for a SS upgrade if this works out.

So I think I'll propose this... But i think he may reject

If it is, I'm really really hoping Wright isn't going to have a 2009-ish season.
And Kinsler plays 140 games or so.

Saying that, I don't mind losing anyone but Tulo really.

Well the guy ended up rejected the trade, saying that he wants more offense and doesn't see how this accomplished that.
Which I agree with in some regards, but he was getting the best player and closer who puts up points in a non ERA/Whip league
(Only Saves, K and BB, BSV for closers)

Any thoughts on this?

I could then flip Werth or Rios for something else.

I love Stubbs, and believe in Alex Gordon, but is that enough for Tulo/Roberts?

I liked the first trade for you. I don't like the second one, your OF is already pretty good for an 18 team league, so losing Tolu at SS to get Stubbs doesn't make sense. Gordon is starting to come down to earth now, so I'm not buying into it.

I was thinking that if I got Stubbs he might be a slight upgrade over Werth and Rios.

So I'd upgrade at 3B for sure (Pedro Alvarez/Brandon Wood)
I could flip one of those OFs for a decent SP
And I guess live with the gap between Tulo/Drew

For instance, last year in my league the difference between Drew and Tulo was:
Drew - 450 Points
Tulo - 530 Points

And you can say Tulo missed some time, but I'd say that Sept kind of evened it all out (27/95 is kind of what I expected this season drafting him)
Also, that assumes Drew stay healthy.

Maybe I'm talking myself into it...

I actually like that a lot as well, because it fills in the 3B void on my team, and then I can trade Werth or Rios for another piece.

But on things like Trade Bashers, I've put that trade in twice and it's come out like 90/10 and 85/15 in favor of the Tulo side.
Which I get, I just think people HATE Gordon and don't have faith in Stubbs. I don't know.
