Stubbs + Garcia for J. Upton + Latos (i'll help you too!)

Im contemplating making this offer in my 6x6 H2H keeper league. We can keep up to 7 players
(based on round drafted - only 5 players may be kept from first 10 rounds).
Also this league counts Hits and OBP but not avg. (R,H,HR,RBI,SB,OBP --- W,K,ERA,WHIP,SV,QS)
my Justin Upton + Latos
for his Stubbs + Jaime Garcia

I know Id be selling Latos at his low and buying high on Garcia, but at this point I think its clear that Garcia is the better pitcher. Upton has huge potential but I have way more than enough power in my lineup and I can use the extra ~20 steals or so that Stubs is likely to provide over the season, as I'm ranked first in every offensive category but second to last in SB's.
Their other stats should be relatively similar, with Upton most likely having a higher RBI count and Stubbs scoring a few more runs.

Aditionally Upton can be kept next yr in the 6th round, and in the 4th rd the following yr.
Stubbs can be kept in the 13th rd next season, and in the 11th the following year.

That's a killer set of outfielders you got there considering their performances so far.

I think you basically have answered the question yourself. I like Garcia over Latos also. Especially watching Latos pitch today against the brew crew. Since you could also use the 20+ steals from Stubbs, I would try to work that deal.

I think it is an ok deal but I do think you are giving away the best player in Upton. But for the up tick in SB, I would be fine with it.

Stubbs and Upton are a wash as they both have a ton of potential. Stubbs will give you the stolen bases like you said. Garcia is a better pitcher and has a much better offense to support him. I would be worried about Latos. He might have an injury that might come soon with his velocity down this season and his run support will be non existent. Do the deal.

Totally like your end in this deal.

You basically get nice 20/20 or even 30/30 potential with Stubbs for Upton, which like the above posters stated, is a wash.

Garcia for Latos is robbery @ it's finest. Garcia is a killer in points, so grabbing him would make you really nasty.

If he accepts, run as fast as you can.
