My team has struggled with pitching lately, adding arguably a top 3 pitcher to my team would undoubtedly help, no?

I just traded JJ for Montero/Walker/Morrison - I needed the bats and I still have SP depth.

JJ is an elite SP option. You're giving up a few nice pieces, but the value of them is still a lot less then JJ's.

I flat out dropped Lowe, so that's a wash. Go pick up Hosmer. Now it looks more like Josh Johnson and Hosmer for Martin and Lowrie. That's a no brainer.
