Hosmer...beyond the hype.

He made it through waivers in my league. 10 team non-keeper, 6x6 with OPS. What kind of numbers can we expect? Will he outperform Smoak? Is he ownable in such a shallow league?

I think Hosmer is ownable in a ten team non-keeper, yeah. I'd also take him over Smoak. It's mainly the fact that the two players are most likely going to put up somewhat similar stats, but Hosmer has the higher ceiling.

I would be ok dropping him for Smoak. Smoak is having a good year but the Seattle offense or lack there of, is killing his numbers.
