This is a 10 keeper league (first year) where we keep 4-8 players in the round they were drafted with increasing penalties for guys kept multiple yrs.
I have by far the strongest batting lineup but want to add a Kershaw/Verlander/Haren/Hamels type legit #1 SP to bolster my staff.
i did a quick roto style analysis of every teams pitching and mine is actually the 2nd ranked in the league right now, so its performing fine... however my concern is that one or both of Beachy/Pineda will be shut down just time time for H2H playoffs and its not clear whether Strasburg comes back at all this year, so i dont want to get stuck with a short staff.
Im trying to decide which player I can trade away that would least hurt my offense's production...
Ive tried to trade Granderson but havent been successful yet, so Im thinking I maybe could stand to lose Fielder Youk or Upton and get a huge return.
Also everyone has used up all their adds for the week so Hosmer is still available and i have an empty roster space so i can add him at midnight if i decide to trade Prince.
So do you think I should pursue a trade now or just hang tight to see what happens and wait for one of the other teams to get desperate for a 1b, 3B, or OF?
