slumps, injuries and burning roster spots

Postby funsizelvis » Sun May 08, 2011 9:47 pm

being new to fantasy baseball, im still figuring out some of the little things.
one is: when to bail on a slump or an injury?
in a 10 team, head-to-head league is it time to bail on guys like:
Jason Bay
Tabata
Sandoval
?

Corey Hart has done nothing, but i've held him this long, i'm willing to hold a while longer.
on my WW:
Hosmer
Garret Jones
melky cabrera
McLouth
John Buck
Geovany Soto

i can fill OF and UTIL spots
Thanks in advance

Welcome to fantasy baseball!

Give us a rundown of your roster and league rules.

In a 10-team, you should have PLENTY of options available in OF.

Before we can help you to make a move or stand pat, give us a glimpse. :-)

I'd grab Hosmer, for one thing. Nothing wrong with dropping Bay or Sandoval to speculate on this kid- the upside is big.

I'd hold Tabata for a while longer. I think he has better chance for picking it up again.
