It's a very shallow league - 7 teams. Everyone's got a good enough catcher and don't need Wieters.

Unless he breaks out, no one's going to pick him up either.

I would definitely not carry 2 catchers period in that garbage league. There has to be better talent on the waiver wire.

Montero is actually having a very good season. He has a .835 OPS and the only numbers that are lower than expected are his R/RBI's but those are opportunity stats not directly related to his performance.

And Avila is easy to use at catcher. Sit him on days that the Tigers face RHP'ing. It can't be that difficult to see who the pitching opponent is.

One poster said to use him against RHP, now you're saying to play him against LHP?
