Amazin, a gut feeling compounded by the fact that the news articles have recently ramped up to a number that far exceeds the one/week dribble of a couple of weeks ago.

Alas, he hurt his hand recently and has now "cooled" off a bit.

Yes, he's still a very good prospect but I don't think it will be too long before Rizzo and Blanks flipflop. Blanks is hitting .407/.474/.860/1.335 since being promoted to the hitter's heaven league.

Padres 1B Anthony Rizzo has been unreal at the plate for Triple-A Tucson since his late July demotion following a failed experiment with San Diego. Rizzo is batting .360 with six homers, seven doubles and 23 RBI in 13 games since rejoining the Tucson lineup. His numbers for the season at Triple-A are a .364 average, .434 OBP, .744 slugging percentage, 1.178 OPS, 22 homers, 27 doubles and 86 RBI in 65 games.
