This kid is impossible to make a deal with...first he offered me Cahill and Chipper Jones for Rollins and Walden and I said yeah so then he said nevermind, but now he's offering me Dempster, Zambrano, Erick Aybar and Chipper for Rollins and Walden...should I do this trade!!?? Thanks guys ;-D
A little background info: McGehee does not look like he can do anywhere near wat he did last year and so I could use Jones...Aybar looks solid coming out of the gate, and I could use some SP (but I don't know whether to trust Dempster OR Zambrano).

You need pitching help and with Rollins in decline I guess I would make this deal simply to flesh out your roster alittle. Losing Waldem is alittle risky because the White Sox closer situation has the potential to be volitile but I see alot of a young Bobby Jenks(minus the headcase) in Santos. I would just spot start Dempster and Zambrano depending on their matchups with the possibility of getting more starts from Zambrano if he continues to pitch well.

The kid you're trading with seems a bit nutty. :P Personally, I'd rather trade for one solid pitcher rather than for two iffy ones. But, you are getting a SS back and a new 3B... So, I think it falls down to risk and reward here. Dempster and Zambrano are both capable of putting together decent starts, although not with much reliability. Aybar is an okay SS, downgrade over Rollins. Chipper is okay, but iffy for the year on the whole, and losing Walden wouldn't be great.

So, I say no. If you want to upgrade, trade 2 for 2, and try to snag better players.

Good luck! ;-D

I'd take the first deal, Cahill and Chipper. Reject the second and tell him it's the first or not at all.
