I never noticed the box score until just now, but he hit 3rd in the order tonight. but then again Alex Gordon did not get the start tonight, so that's likely the only reason Hosmer was hitting in the 3 spot.

gordon's been struggling over the last week. if he comes crashing back to earth ima be bitter that i didn't unload him

i think Hosmer will out produce Gordon the rest of the way, and will be surprised if Hosmer doesn't take over the 3 hole permanently at some point in the near future, if not immediately.
i think its almost a lock that he out-homers Gordon

and thats not necessarily a huge endorsement for Hosmer, but rather shows what i think about Gordons true talent level.

Me too, although I think I may be able to still squeak out a deal. At this point I'm thinking about getting something decent back instead of trying to "sell high"

I've been using Konerko and Ortiz at two util spots. I'm thinking of trading one away to upgrade elsewhere and maybe start Hosmer from here on out. Maybe a little platoon with Joyce.
