One more interesting side-note to the call-up will be interleague games with no DH. It looks pretty apparent the Royals want almost nothing to do with Butler at 1B so if Hosmer can hold his own at the plate the team has a tough choice to make. Both may lose time if they go with a R/L platoon during that stretch.

Extremely doubtful since they would have to sit either Gordon or Frenchy in order to do so.
