David Wright/Jaime Garcia for Robinson Cano? WHIR

Postby mhuhn23 » Thu May 05, 2011 3:27 pm

Hey everyone just wondering if any of you like this move for me. I was offered Daniel Hudson and Robinson Cano for David Wright and Jaime Garcia. I will help in return, just leave me a link. Does this weaken my staff too much?

I have been shopping Cabrera around (and waiting on Morneau) to see if I can get a solid bat and SP. Also, if I take the deal I drop Scott Sizemore. This move seems like a dream come true, as somehow Ryan Zimmerman was dropped, I picked him up with the 12/12 waiver spot. I can ride Chipper while he's hot and the season is young, and then turnover the 3B spot to Zimm when he gets back.

This is a keeper league that will keep 7 after this year. 12 team H2H with 15 categories.
Batters: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, K, OPS, ER
Pitching: ERA, WHIP, K, W, SV, K/BB, HRA

C Miguel Montero
1B Miguel Cabrera
2B Chone Figgins
3B David Wright
SS Hanley Ramirez
OF Jason Heyward
OF Andrew McCutchen
OF Grady Sizemore
OF Jason Bay
UTIL Justin Morneau
BN: 3B Chipper Jones, 3B Ryan Zimmerman, OF Domonic Brown, 2B Scott Sizemore

SP: Tim Lincecum, Brett Anderson, Jaime Garcia, Brandon Beachy, Bud Norris, Scott Baker, Madison Bumgarner
RP: Neftali Feliz, Matt Capps, Sergio Santos

I say go for it. With Zimmerman on the bench, you'd have a solid guy for 3B along with possibly the best 2B around right now.

Zimmerman is gonna be gone a while longer but that being said, Chipper has been solid so far.

Take the deal
