Hey guys, this is my first year of fantasy baseball. My team is currently 4-0 but I am looking to make a move for additional pitching. I could also use depth in the outfield.
I was offered Clayton Kershaw and Mike Stanton for Evan Longoria and AJ Burnett.
Right away this looks to me like I am giving up way too much, but pitching is favored in this league. I am just looking for a second opinion. Thanks.

I don't like that trade you were offered. Longoria is a 1st rounder and AJ Burnett should (hopefully) do well and get some wins just playing for the yankees.
Kershaw is great most of the time but after the last couple starts I don't thinks he's going to be crazy good this year. His ERA for innings 1-2 is like 1.2 but after that is like 5.6. (Stats from of Vin Scully)
What are some other plays on that are F.A./WW material? Any pitchers in your league your willing to trade for?
If you willing to give up longoria I think you should aim for Josh Johnson...
Do not do this deal for the reasons this ^ guy posted. Longo should get you a lot more if you trade him. Should be getting you a top tier SP and not Kershaw who is good, but not elite.
