I am currently in 2nd place in a 10 team Roto league. My offense has been doing very well and I have a deep bench. I've picked up guys like Polanco and Berkman which have been huge for me the 1st month.
Another manager is very down on Crawford and rightfully so. I think he would be willing to trade me CC & David Price for Kemp and another lesser bat. Crawford definitely is a reason for concern. He doesnt seem to be handling Boston well but he has batted better his past 9 games and Price has not been a stud either but i could use the help in ERA and whip. I think he will turn it around.
Here is my team:
C - Ramos
1B - M. Cabrera
2B - Weeks
3B - Polanco
SS - Rollins
OF - Kemp
OF - Ichiru
OF - BJ Upton
Util - Berkman
Util - Wallace
BN - Hunter
BN - Aviles
BN - Coghlan
BN - R. Roberts
DL - Zimmerman
SP - C. Lee
SP - Billingsley
P - Weaver
P - Cahill
P - Shields
P - Bumgardner
RP - Wilson
RP - League
RP - Chapman
RP - Veras
do I sit tight and not try to fix what is not broke or do I take a stab at two of the top players bouncing back in a big way. I'm thinking an offer of Kemp and either Coghlin/Roberts/Aviles/Hunter for Crawford/Price
any help would really be appreciated. is this too risky of a move considering their slow starts and how great kemp has been?
