3RD Base Options

Should I consider dropping Mark Reynolds for Mike Aviles, or maybe even Wilson Betemit? Reynolds is killing me and seems to be getting worse. Is it too early to cut bait? Aviles will not last for long!

I'd probably hold onto Reynolds for now. I don't think any of the options you mentioned is worth dropping his power potential at this point.

Hmm...what is your league format and what is available? Also, how many teams?

Reynolds has been nothing short of atrocious this year. I'd consider trying Aviles out, he's heating up and you get some SB potential there too.

If you can afford to drop someone else for Aviles I would do it. Reynolds has way too much power potential from a very shallow 3B position. His peripherals suggest he just getting unlucky right now, and I wouldn't be surprised if you see his AVG rise .50 - .60 points. Remember, you didn't draft him for AVG, but for power.

The league is an 8 team 8X8 head to head league, so there is always servicable players on the wire, but Aviles is the only one I would consider at this point.
