Solid DL Pickup?!?!

Postby etl1692 » Wed May 04, 2011 12:27 am

Would It be worth it to fill my DL spot and ride an injury out? Greinke just came off my DL and I Now have a free DL spot. Iam thinking maybe pick up someone that is coming back a little later to help out my team? Does anyone have any idea on maybe who would be a good pickup? was thinking maybe Barry Zito, Rafael Furcal, Kendrys Morales, Andres Torres, etc.....???

Would Really appreciate the help and WHIR!

Morales would be a great guy to stash in your DL spot.

Agreed. My league doesn't have a DL spot, or Kendrys would have been stashed there since I drafted him. Keep in mind that he can do everything except run, and until he can run @ 100%, then he is out indefinitely.

IMO, take Logan and stash him.

If you think you can have him eat your DL spot for another month, then get Kendrys. I picked up Logan a few days ago. Look for someone who's coming of the DL in the next few days if you can. Kendrys will likely still be out there in a couple of weeks.

If you're looking for an RP, I'd go for Andrew Bailey if he's available.

Coming off DL in 2 weeks and Fuentes has overstayed his welcome.

Torres and Furcal are both coming back relatively soon. Morales is the one to stash he might not be back till July, but that might be the best time to get an extra bat, the stretch run.
Larry - "Who's this? Who are you?"
Crash Davis - "I'm the player to be named later."
