Cahill or Ubaldo

Postby kesaber » Tue May 03, 2011 6:48 pm

I know Cahill did well last year and is doing well this year. But Ubaldo is an amazing pitcher. I was offered his Ubaldo for my Cahill? You think Cahill will turn it around. I'm interested in the long term, not immediate future.

I think you should take Ubaldo even though I really like Cahill and think he was under-valued coming into this year.

I'll probably be in the minority here, but I'm taking Cahill. Ubaldo had a great start to the season last year, but faded, and it's spilling over. Cahill has only gotten better and better. Also pitches in a better park.

Cahill is a great pitcher with minimal offense behind him.

Ubaldo is a slight notch above Cahill when on, but not as consistent. And a powerhouse offense to boot.

I would take the trade with no regrets. :-)
