Dempster/Soriano - FOR - Oswalt?! (WHIR!)

Very deep, very competitive, season-long points-league.

I give-up Oswalt for Dempster and Soriano.

Dempster's been AWFUL so far but his CBS projection (which I know means squat) is identical to Oswalt's. And his 3-year-avg (which does mean something) is actually better than Oswalt's.

Meanwhile, while I think he's over-achieving big-time, Soriano could help me a little.

I'm leaning towards it. I mean, Oswalt's back always makes you a little nervous and Dempster's been crazy consistent over the past few years. And then I can ride Soriano's hot streak for a bit or even package him as a sell-high option in a separate deal?

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Another vote for Oswalt. I agree that Dempster will turn things around a bit but Oswalt will still be much better.

Stick with Oswalt. Better offense behind him, better overall pitcher (and didn't get shelled for 7 earned in 1/3 inning recently).

Thanks for posting in my thread on the Cargo trade.

As for your trade offer. I would definitely stick with Oswalt in this one. Even if Dempster turns it around a bit (which is likely), Oswalt still will be the better pitcher in my mind.
