I have tried making some trades but to no prevail.
I need a spark so is anyone on Free agent list worth a start?

gardner is valuable. Posada retired, so he won't help you much

Kubel and Bourjos are nice players

Or drop Barney, move Walker to 2B, and grab Kubel or Bourjos.

Gardner as fast as you can, he simply should not be available in a 12 teamer. 2nd I would say Kubel, the new park will help him improve over the past 2 yrs at Target fields death valley power alleys.

Drop Barney and Coughlin, move Young from 3b to 2b and put Pablo in at 3b. Move Ichiro into your starting lineup. Have Gardner or Walker as your 2nd util.
