I'm going to assume you mean Carlos Ruiz. Honestly, even with Utley's health being a huge question mark, I would hold off on this deal because it doesn't seem to help you. Carlos Gonzalez is doing NOTHING right now, and he's really not showing any signs of life. Utley seems like he could be coming back pretty soon, and if he's healthy then you have one of the best 2b's in the game. Hunter Pence is really producing right now and you have Russell Martin who's doing great at catcher already. I like the idea of trying to buy low on CarGo, but this deal just doesn't do it for me right now.

I don't like this trade for you. I would try for a pitcher in this deal instead of Ruiz.

A little too much for CarGo. Aim higher than Ruiz, if you are going to give up Utley.

The one thing is that I don't know how Utley is going to pan out, and if this injury is going to cause problems the rest of the season. I listed his team below, do you think I should trade for someone else?

Ill take cargo and rios. Your going to get two stars while missing out on their slumps. Especially cargo, won't be like last year, but the kid us still young and has ridiculous talent. And now is the perfect time to sell utley with the recent good need. Could bounce back and be good, but one set back and he may be done for the year, plus I still value cargo over utley at 100%

Also the issue I have is I am giving up Utley my 2nd base option (right now using Raburn and Aviles), and in return I am getting 2 outfielders. Michael Young can play 2nd and 3rd, so I feel like I'd need to get a 2nd/3rd baseman otherwise I'm hurting overall production. On the other hand Rios and Gonzalez are not doing so hot, but I feel like they both will pick it up and have the potential to have really good numbers.
