I was thinking of trading McGahee in a package deal..
I also have Neil Walker eligible at 3rd.. But would start Gordon..
Would you trade McGahee and rely on Gordon? What kind of numbers do you think Alex will post end season?

Peripheral stats back up his great start. I don't think he'll become what we all hoped he would a couple years ago, but he could easily be a top 10 3B, especially with the recent rash of 3B injuries. I think you can rely on him to start at 3B pretty comfortably.
Help?

Frankly, I trust him every bit as much as McGehee. Gordon has FAR more pedigree than McGehee and while he may not have quite as much pop (right now), I think the ceiling is much higher. I'd have no trouble resting on Gordon (or even Walker as insurance) if you're getting something strong for McGehee. With 3B so thin, you're in a great trade position...trade wisely!
