No way i dont like that trade at all for you. Your giving way too much. Granderson seems to be doing better and improving. Alexei is decent. Your just giving too much. Maybe try and pickup someone else on his team.
Are you going to be keeping Wright if you would be getting him? I don't really see with your team if you weren't planning on keeping him making this deal.

Then I would package a guy that you can't keep rather then Granderson. Or since you can't keep Crawford you could try to go straight up, but might be tough with him with his cold start.
Here is HIS TEAM ... any thoughts? He needs a SS (Alexei) and I need either 1B help or just another good Hr/RBI man.

Probably would have been a lot easier to get Wright if Sandoval hadn't just got hurt, and besides Berkman, I'm not seeing anyone on his team that he can plug at 1B. Don't know how you feel about your P staff, but Greinke and Ramirez for Wright would be fair, since you can't keep Greinke after this year anyway.
I recently dealt for Greinke so I'd have a really consistent and dominant 1-5 (Halladay, Felix, Lincy, Greinke and Danks). If anyone is on my trading block, it's probably Wandy due to his lack of consistency. But then again, this guy has solid pitching so I'd be reluctant to stack him there.
He once offered me Swisher for Alexei but I think that's too little. I'm wondering if it's worth adding something with Alexei to make a run at Werth, whom he seems more than willing to move.

Well, Wandy and Ramirez isn't going to get you Wright, let alone Werth. You're gonna have to set your sights a little lower if you're not willing to trade a better pitcher. I would send the Wandy and Ramirez for Werth, but I'm thinking it's not going to get accepted.
To put it into perspective, nothing was formal but he mentioned in an IM earlier:
Can't afford to lose wright AND papi...they're 2 of the 3 100+ rbi guys I have Can't move wright w/o getting some sb back
He also said:
I was thinking more along the lines of werth + hunter/swish ...but we can talk about it more when the dust settles
(which was a reference to my note that I wanted some trades to process before i submitted him an offer).
Anyway, it seems like he would move Wright if he got SB back, and I do have some speedy guys. But he also seems to be open to dealing Wright but just not Papi too.
The Werth + Hunter or Swisher was in reference to the idea of Alexei and Granderson.
