Have good backups at 3 positions .. time to trade???

Postby ACSeminole » Mon May 02, 2011 3:15 pm

Hey guys,

I'm off to a slow start. I have been offered trades for Crawford. But I am reluctant to trade him just yet. I do however have both Posey and Martin. Should I sell Martin high or wait til people get more desperate? Or keep them both? Same with Cabrera and Walker ... as they are currently my back ups.

I'd definitely be selling Martin with posey at the realm. And really any of your bench guys are more than tradeable if you can get decent value

I think Martin will be good, but since you have Posey, I would sell now. I'd trade Martin and Adam Jones for a more reliable power/rbi bat in the OF, not that Jones is bad. Alternately, Martin and Quentin for the same thing (Quentin has power but i feel like u never know with him)

Might be worth getting Hamilton, but not for Crawford.

help me?

I also may be able to grab Nelson Cruz or Prince Fielder for Martin. Fielder may be the better player but Cruz is OF. Go with Cruz over Hamilton?

Yes. Take Hamilton. That is big. He will come back and produce better than Martin easily.

Help me out:

Make the trade for Hamilton ASAP. If that fails, take Cruz.
