I got offered this trade today. I first I thought it was a pretty easy turn down because of Latos' upside, but his stuff hasn't quite been the same thus far this year and if he doesn't recover his velocity this season it might make sense to grab Stanton while he is heating up.

Latos upside?
I think we saw it last year.
He got over worked, and is paying for it.
No bat may have the upside of Stanton.
Stanton for me.

That's kind of my point, what we saw last year is his upside... I don't expect his last year to be his best of all time, but as you said he did get injured to start the year and has slowed a tick or two early on, I just don't know if he will get that tick back this season or next. Obviously you think it's more likely next year or never.

Thanks for the help.
