Trade Help! Who should I offer for Marcum? WHIR

I new to fantasy baseball and I understand what your saying.

The league I am playing in is a custom league made by a family member of mine. My roster spots are

C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, (4) OF, DH, Util.
(5) Bench

Pitchers are 6 SP (MAX) 3 RP (MAX).

I didn't really understand this when I joined so maybe I've been doing things wrong. It seems to me that I would have to give up a SP (drop/trade/etc.) to add Marcum. That is why I am looking at Kuroda, garza, etc. PLUS he said he wants Lowrie so I'm trying to sell him high and get something back for him.
