Lowrie/Lester for R.Roberts/Kendrick/Marcum? Yes or No?

I give Lowrie/Lester for R. Roberts/H. Kendrick/S. Marcum

He offered me this because he is interested in my Lowrie and I want Marcum, but I am really only interested in Marcum.

I offered Lowrie/Liriano/Walden for Marcum. He countered with whats above. Was I crazy to offer that (I had some moves in mind) and what should I counter with?

I wouldnt do the trade that was proposed. You're giving up by far the best player in the deal.

Lester will have 50-60 more K's than Marcum over the season, likely several more wins, fewer hit sallowed, and possibly be worth close to 100 points over him.
The rest of the guys in the trade are all bench players and are not going to contribute much at all to either team.
And if this is a weekly league then they are pretty much inconsequential. In daily leagues id value Lowrie more than either Kendrick or Roberts.

i would come back with Garcia instead of Lester and try to talk up last years 2.70 era and the increased k rate he has shown this season. If he shoots that down id just leave it and walk away.

Oops. It would be for Marcum and maybe R. Roberts.

Liriano has almost no current trade value. To be honest.

Personally I would do no trade that involved him as I'd rather have the roster spot..

Dropped Liriano for M. Garza.

What about trading M. Garza/Lowrie for Marcum?

I've also got Kuroda, J. Garcia, Chacin, Jared Weaver, Lester to work with.

i think Garza, Kuroda, Chacin all have similar value going forward.
Id try to trade Kuroda but that just personal preference bc i hate the dodgers with a passion.
Id value Garcia a little higher than those 3 guys.
and then Lester and Weaver are in the elite class. i wouldnt consider trading either of them unless you get a ridiculous offer that you cant pass up.

I always find it funny when someone picks up a player off the wire then tries to package them in a deal...... Looking at his roster, he's needing OF help, so maybe a packaging a Tabata/R. Davis with Kuroda/Chacin for Marcum.

I must have missed posting this at the top. He wants Lowrie and I have no problem dealing him away because there is no way he is going to keep this up.
