My team need improvement or am I just underacheiving?

Postby Cali Redneck » Sat Apr 30, 2011 6:37 am

It seems to me that I have a fairly solid team with good players and good depth. But so far my record is mediocre and I'm stuck right in the middle of the standings. Any major improvements that need to be made with this roster, or should I just wait it out?

Kurt Suzuki at Util? No other options on the WW(B. Wallace, Smoak)

Your team is very solid and hopefully both Morales and Utley will be back by the end of May.

Please help with mine.

I had Yunel Escobar and Abreu. Abreu WILL work but personally, I think he won't even get 2009 numbers. Get rid of Yunel, I just did a few days ago. he's just going to clog youre lineup. Those first few weeks of the season are going to be Yunels better production weeks of the whole season. Macier Izturis will end up with just as many homeruns 6-12.. and hits for a better average and can rip off a bag or two. Plus Izturis is and has been leading off for the Halos. Yunel is batting 2nd.. so is Abreu. Leadoff = more at bats, more walks because of the start of the game, more runs scored. Trust me besides a select handful of number 2 hitters, hitters tend to get less than they would, thats wise. In fantasy baseball you want to tend to avoid little things like this. Hope that helps!
