I may well be sitting in 12th place with a 18-50-4 record come Monday. I started out icy cold. Traded longoria, Dunn and Ubaldo in late March before their ailment came along, so I could have been in even worse shape. But even still, I've had rotten luck (losing 12-4 right now... the team I am playing this week is hitting .345 with 16 home runs thru Friday, and a sub 3 era and 1.02 whip).
What else should I do to get things going? I was in 11 th place in late June back in 2008 and won the whole league with the #5 seed so I know I can still come back. But I want to be smart about it... Any guys I should look to move for a certain piece?

I wouldn't make any panic moves yet. I think this team is very good and could easily rebound very nicely. The one area I see as a weakness is pitching depth after your top 3, which is nuts. I can see them hurting your pitching #'s. But again, this is a very good team, I would stay patient.
Are you putting up good numbers, and your opponents are just having huge weeks, or do you feel like your team is not producing to the level of other teams?
A bit of both. Until this week, my team didn't hit. Like pretty much average in the .200-.230 range collectively. I totally agree on the need for a bit more depth. If Danks starts to get run support then I like my 1-4. I would love to move Wandy somehow but his stock is low. Ogando looks good but how long will he be a starter? I am getting Zimmermann in a deal that should process Tuesday. I will likely drop him though for a more stable arm on the WW.
I could see trading Sizemore if you wanted to make a move, but I think you'll be just fine once a couple of your stars warm up. Its very early and you don't need to win the league just get an invite to the playoffs; I'll bet you'll have forgotten all about April in July
In 2008, I was in 11th place as of late June. I snagged the 5th seed out of 6, then won the whole enchilada. So I will have to hope I can do it again.
I think after these trades I am slightly red sox heavy. I wonder if I could move Lowrie and Ogando for a reliable SP. I know I need to actually make the payoffs but I have had a lot of success by stacking aces, so what level pitcher could i target?

I think that's a good sell high on Sizemore. Even though Greinke hasn't pitched yet this season, it appears he'll return soon. When he does, I see him as a top 10 SP.
