Buying low on Cargo? WHIR

Classic buy low sell high here, is it a good fit? 5x5 H2H 10 team keeper.


I give:

Russell Martin- $5
Alex Gordon- $5
Wandy Rodriguez- $6


I get:

Carlos Gonzalez: $47
Mat Latos: $13
Michael Morse: $5


I can replace Martin and Gordon fine and I like adding the depth to my staff and outfield. But I am giving up some keeper value as Cargo is not a keeper at that price, although Latos might be, while Martin and Gordon look very nice right now for $5. So is this a good one or no? Drop a link I'll respond when I can.

I think you do it...should always be playing for the present...worry about the future when it happens...I am horrible at following that advice, but do believe in it...Gordon may or may not breakout so to speak...Martin will be decent, but not concerned...you are selling high and buying low...pull the trigger

Looks like you're taking on a lot of salary, but if you have the money to spare, go for it!!

Yeah I'd take that deal. All the players you're giving could easily fizzle, and Latos and Cargo have the stuff to be top tier. Would be a great trade.

I like the trade for you. CarGo is kinda high but I think Latos could be a bargain. I would do it.

yeah, i think latos at 13 is a better deal than cargo at 47, but i would take the deal regardless.

i don't wouldn't worry too much about martin next year. i'm betting you'll be able to find him at about 5 bucks again. gordon will be a different story.

Take it. The only guy likely to do better in the second half among those you are giving up is Wandy. And I own him ... reluctantly. I hope to dump him onto another owner soon, and so should you here. Esp if Cargo is included. You can shed salary elsewhere.
