Which player to target? WHIR

Postby CubsFan4Life23 » Fri Apr 29, 2011 4:40 pm

If I wanted to sell high on Berkman...which of the following players would be my targets?

Interested players: Napoli (bc I need a better C) could do a package deal Napoli with one of the following (Greinke, Marmol, Bell, Oswalt, Jiminez or Verlander)

12 teams H2H (5x5)

My Team:
Hundley / M Cabrera / M Prado / T Tulowitzki / A Gordon / S Choo / J Upton / C Rasmus / L Berkman / A Jones
A Hill DL / R Zimmerman DL

M Cain / T Hanson / I Kennedy / A Ogando / A Harang / D Hudson / J Masterson / S Santos / D Storen / M Garza / J Danks

Thanks and leave a link. ;-D

Definitely package Napoli. greinke is hard to say because he is coming off DL although i haave hime and like him. Jiminez also just got off DL so we'll see. I think i like oswalt here. plays for a run producing team, and has shown consistency. But then again if Jiminez comes back strong , he is a stud, and the rockies look good so far, unfortunately he pitches in a hitters park. Its a tough call. but all are good!!

I don't think targeting Napoli with Berkman is a good move. You should be targeting a pitcher. If you are able to package Berkman for an ace pitcher and Napoli than that is a good deal. If you can get Oswalt or Verlander than I would pull the trigger.

I don't know why anyone would give you Napoli AND Verlander for Berkman but that would be amazing for you. You would have better luck getting one of the DL boys or Oswalt, although that's still a bit of a stretch. I wouldn't sell BK short though and only take Napoli and a closer, make sure you get a nice starter in the deal.

So Berkman and Harang for either

Verlander and Napoli
Grienke and Napoli
Jimenez and Napoli or
Oswalt and Napoli

Would be good deals for me?

How would you rank them above?

I'd rank them as
Verlander, Jimenez, Oswalt/Grienke.

And all would be great deals as rjforlife said.

Yeah I'd take any of those. RAnked Verlander, Greinke, Jimenez, Oswalt, but you should be happy if you can pull off any.
