Vance Worley looks sharp thru the first 2 frames. Dodged a few errors to strand a pair in the 1st. He's got good movement on his FB and is spotting it nicely on the corners. Now if Cederstrom would open his eyes a bit...

He was actually serviceable in his last start (first one after I dropped him). Somewhat relieved to see him getting bombed today.

Does any catcher have a quicker release or a stronger, more accurate arm than Buster?
Routinely guns down baserunners even though the giants staff is awful at holding guys on.
Just fired off another round from the ol howitzer to nail Nix at 2nd base! (Although replays disagree, but hey I'm not complainin)

edit
And now Posey throws out Desmond by at least 10 feet and the 2nd base ump blows the call AGAIN! Tejada clearly tagged him before he anywhere near the bag...
Rough day for umpire Rob Drake, esp since Marquis just got a hit to drive in desmond.

Nice to see Rajai back, leading off, and stealing bases.

Scherzer, what are you doing?? 5 walks today, couldn't locate a thing. 4 pitch walk to Sizemore, where nothing was really even close, Leyland comes out, Scherzer fights to stay in, and then grooves one to Asdrubel and blows my quality start.

Thanks Max.

Are you even watching the game? cuz his suff was filthy until the 6th. He was throwing first pitch strikes and he was locating every pitch on the corners. His 4seam was good and his change ups were looking unhittable. However he gave up 5 runs in 6th & 7th and did blow a win for me too so :-t
