I this enough and my actual question what is Carl Crawford's value because if I can get value I am probably going to trade him because he has been horrible so far.

I would give it some time on Crawford. He's a better all around 5-category player than Heyward. In BOS lineup, he's going to get plenty of R, RBI, probably SB, too. I think you're giving up more in this deal.
While I agree that you should be looking to upgrade your SP, I think you're not getting enough for Crawford here. Though he has struggled, Crawford was a bona fide first round pick in fantasy drafts. I'd expect at least first or second round value for him, which you wouldn't be getting in J-Hey and Hamels. I'd hold out for more (or give Crawford some time to reestablish value).

I don't like this trade. You are selling low on Crawford, a top 5 pick this year.
He's off to a slow start but he is too good of a player NOT to snap out of it. He is also in a nasty lineup.
Cole Hamels is a beast but Jay Bruce could produce ~ equal with Heyward this year, and if you are going to trade Crawford it needs to be for Felix, Lincecum, or Halladay.
Nope, wouldnt do this. If the pitchers name was Lincecum/Halladay, heck Id even take Jiminez there, I probably would though. Hamels is probably this guys 2nd best pitcher, try and counter offer with his best pitcher in the mix. If you cant do this walk away from the trade. I know youre frustrated with Crawford, I would be too, but dont underestimate his ability. Players with that kind of talent always slip out of their funk. If need be, put him on the bench for a little while and ride it out, if you still dont want him in your OF trade him when he has value.

So no he really doesn't have a better pitcher unless I wish to take a prospect like Drabek or roll the dice long term with Lohse and Ogando.
Also, Crawford has been on the bench since April 18th, I have been afforded that luxury because of acquiring guys like Roberts and Morrison, and having Sizemore and Bay come back from their DL stints and all of them having their hot bats.
i have to agree with everyone here. I, myself am trying to buy low on crawford from someone and this is low. yes, Hamels is good, but not good enough for crawford. coughlin is no big deal and i just dropped beckham myself. Hamels looks like his best pitcher so if he really wants crawford then offer crawford for hamels and a good bat if ur gonna give up on crawford, otherwise ill wait it out also
